We love charm bracelets. For tens of thousands of years, charms have been collected to serve as talisman for protection, as commemoration, as mementos and souvenirs, given and received as gifts; as a celebration of our lives and who we are and what is important to us.
In this course, we will be using the form of charm bracelets to dip our toes into a variety of jewelry fabrication processes. We will play with wax working for metal casting, designing 2-D for laser cutting, and traditional hands-on metalsmithing techniques.
This course is open to beginning students as well as those who want to elevate their level of proficiency and strengthen their jewelry making skills.
Class size 4 – 12 students. Masks are optional, not required.
